one of the highlights of every singapore grand prix season is amber lounge. what started out as my F1 VIP party of choice quickly turned into an awesome collaboration of fashion and music with two of the most fabulous ladies.

amber fashion is the brainchild of amber lounge founder sonia irvine and was launched in 2006 in monaco under the patronage of HSH prince albert II of monaco, with supermodel eva herzigova headlining the missoni fashion show. amber fashion made it’s debut in singapore in 2010 with a stunning showcase by herve leger, and featuring singapore supermodel junita simon. my team and i have since worked closely with sonia and the lovely renata lucca to create some amazing runway moments in singapore every year.

asian couturier frederick lee designed a collection entitled “a night flight of gargoyles” to celebrate the 10th anniversary of amber lounge, in what must be the most ambitious and avant-garde amber fashion presentation to date. with special appearances by john martin and taboo of the black eyed peas, it was certainly a most star-studded lineup.Image hair maestro marco flew in from europe to create these amazing hairstyles for frederick ImageImageImageImageImageImage pre-rehearsal ritual , with show producer bryan gamboa and casting director dominic min clarke ImageImageImageImage backstage with the fab hosts for the evening, alan wong & hanli hoefer from MTV asia Image john martin getting prepped backstageImageImageImage couture creations by frederick lee ImageImageImage taboo from the black eyed peas on stage, wearing singapore label depression ( pix by wesley kow )  ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage another fabulous year, another wonderful collaboration. thank you renata, and your lovely team. congratulations to amber lounge on your 10th birthday. here’s to many many more !!!!Image  http://www.amber-lounge.com ; http://www.frederickbridal.com
