spent four fantastic days in florence earlier this year being hosted by the fab folks from Luisa via Roma , filming fashion vignettes , shooting street style stuff and indulging in all things fashion, as part of their Firenze4Ever celebrations.
StyleLab is a mega-editorial , in 30 capsules , as imagined by 30 international trendsetters , and I was privileged to be one of them. each personality created a fashion story with their own unique sense of style and fashion vision, and here’s my contribution .
my fashion fable was shot by two photographers , the italian tommaso ferri and asian DMC ( who had earlier photographed me for a brilliant street-style story ) , each shooting the story from their individual perspective. I was assisted by stylist audrey ong , and worked with italian model Italo and malaysian suzanne to bring the looks to life.
I collaborated with the genius folks from Vlisco ( a group of fabric designers from Holland who use traditional printing techniques – similar to batik – to create modern, whimsical printed fabrics ) to create a series of looks inspired by the ethno-morphic theme.
kept a fashion diary of my experience as a Luisa via Roma ambassador for herworld.com .
